... Salman Rushdie's Shame. Just finished the first chapter. So far it's a hilarious (?) Political satire that has me cracking up at odd times.. :-)
Powerbooks had a sale last week and i bought Shame and a chic lit package sale = Bergdorf Blonde + I am Charlotte 'sumthing'. I finished reading Bergdorf and I must say.. It was too painful to finish it but i endured it... Seriously! It's dumb, shallow, and superficial 'it made MY nails hurt' -not to mention my head.. Pfft! I'm too scared to start the other chic lit book. Brrr...
Rushdie's book should be much more enlightening. Whatdya guys think?
