:-) I received the biggest package ever! Possibly the biggest one that was delivered to TEC. Love it! It had everything on it - roses, a stuff toy, yummy melt-in-your-mouth-gooey-moist chocolate cake, & balloons!
Had a fun dinner with (single) friends at Chili's. Then we took home all the heart shaped balloons from the place. Then i almost had a run in with a cop for making a wrong turn and a possible expired license - but was saved by charm and with the help of my dearest Pia. Whew!
Whoever said being single on Vday is boring and no fun? I beg to disagree. Though single, I had the ultimate Vday today. It's all about Love yes. And i was definitely surrounded by it. And i am so thankful for having them. :-*
... Salman Rushdie's Shame. Just finished the first chapter. So far it's a hilarious (?) Political satire that has me cracking up at odd times.. :-)
Powerbooks had a sale last week and i bought Shame and a chic lit package sale = Bergdorf Blonde + I am Charlotte 'sumthing'. I finished reading Bergdorf and I must say.. It was too painful to finish it but i endured it... Seriously! It's dumb, shallow, and superficial 'it made MY nails hurt' -not to mention my head.. Pfft! I'm too scared to start the other chic lit book. Brrr...
Rushdie's book should be much more enlightening. Whatdya guys think?
One of my current addiction of the moment (other than taking pics of just about everything with The Phone) are these adorable and yummylicious cupcakes by Sonja! Now like any other addictions, too much can be bad. In this case it's fattening! :-S not to mention pricey! I still can't believe i spent 900+php for just a Dozen cupcakes.. Though it was a special request by my Aunt who's leaving the country this Tuesday.. Still - they are yummy!
Decided to pass by Swagat before my shift tonight & voila : my Saturday dinner = vegie samosa + aloo methi(potatoes with spices) + tandoor roti + some really spicy green sauce. Yum!
After a great dinner at North Park, we stopped by the cutest bakeshop and bought these ridiculously expensive and adorable cupcakes. :-) I must say they are divine! Especially the pecan tart - sinfull!
After MOA, my Tita & i invaded Serendra for some sugar fix. What better way to fix it but a dosage of some Krispy Kreme doughnuts & Kreme latte. Yum! :-D
It's my rare day off from work! As a treat to myself & to my Tita who's in town for a visit, we headed off to Mall of Asia. Huge place! Malayo pero ok lang. Very nice & just about everything is there. Word of caution tho- wear comfy shoes! :-) we did a lot window shopping then binged on some Sbarro. We then went to Serendra for more 'site seeing' & more food tasting! :-D
Just foolin around with my new fab phone! Fell in love with my friend's new phone so got myself one too! Hehe :) lovin it! So expect more fun and happy pix from me this year. Goodnight! ;)
